QUALITY POLICY

 

The stated Quality Policy of the company is: "Through a systematic approach in developing, manufacturing, quality testing and continual product and process improvement, VINU Food Products shall strive to provide good quality food products to achieve high level of customer satisfaction and also strive to adopt food safety measures by complying with all relevant food laws".


To put the Quality Policy into practice, the Management has established Quality objectives in all relevant functions at all levels. Accordingly the established food safety objectives are measurable and are also consistent with Food Safety policy. Some of the objectives of the organization which support the quality policy are given below.


Some of the objectives of the organization which support the quality policy are given below.

  • GMP index should be more than 92%
  • Process compliance should not have any major non-conformances or gaps (as pointed out by external auditors or inspectors) in areas related to food safety and regulations.
  • Product rejects due to safety problems should be zero.
  • All personnel should be trained to perform their role effectively.
  • The number of major faults in factory equipments used in food processing should be not more than 5 every quarter.
